Objectives of this Role

• Be directly involved in litigation including dissolutions, allocation of parental responsibility, paternity, orders of protection, guardianships and related financial issues.
• Advise, advocate for, and represent our clients' interests.
• Use strong interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with clients.
• Maintain a regular schedule of court appearances, hearings, and conferences based on case requirements. Responsibilities
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
• Work closely with litigation team to prepare comprehensive strategies on each case that goes to trial
• Interface with clients about discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and other case-related work
• Conduct depositions and discovery; perform research on legal matters
• Make frequent court appearances, conduct hearings and pre-trial conferences Skills and Qualifications
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in matrimonial law
• Detail oriented with ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Litigation experience
• Great client interface skills
